This is a club within the University of Georgia's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. This program is to help with the education of dairy science to students, alumni, and other organizations. We welcome all with an open mind and interest!

Every year in the UGA Dairy Science Club we look forward to:

CAES Welcome Back Fall Kick-Off: Hosted by the College to welcome students back to the University; clubs come out to welcome and inform students; Dairy Science Club always brings a PR heifer.

South Campus Tailgate: Hosted by the College at Legion Field during football season with several alumni in town; Dairy Science Club always sets up and brings a heifer.

Georgia National Fair in Perry, GA (Show Team): Several club members halter break heifers at the dairy and then show at the fair, both for confirmation and showmanship.

Dairy Judging Trips: Our judging team travels across the country for several competitions and judges dairy cows and heifers.

Southern Regional Dairy Challenge: National Dairy Challenge and Dairy Academy present A professional, real-world application networking conference in which students go on farm and complete a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) to present to judges.

Commercial Dairy Heifer Show: Hosted by the Dairy Science Club in Athens, GA every year for 4-H and FFA students of all ages showing dairy heifers.

Southern Regional ADSA-SAD (American Dairy Science Associaion, Student Affiliate Division): ADSA hosts an academic and professional event with individuals from multiple schools networking, presenting research and competing in quiz bowl

Spring Dairy Show in Athens, GA (Show Team): Our show team shows for confirmation and showmanship here.

Ag Day at Tate: Hosted by Sigma Alpha, an agricultural awareness day at the Tate Student Center; Dairy Science Club brings a heifer.

Other Various PR and agricultural education events at local elementary schools.
